Join Your Community at CBD’s Shabbaton!
JANUARY 25 & 26
It is time to reserve your space at the annual CBD's Shabbaton January 25th and 26th ! This will be a special weekend of prayer, learning and community connections.
We will welcome the Shabbat with joyful song and prayer, led by Student Rabbi Ariel, followed by a community meal provided by CBD, featuring our annual Challah-pallooza!
Our Shabbat celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a brief Kabbalat Shabbat service followed by a Shabbat dinner.
Saturday will begin at 10:00 a.m. with prayer and Torah study, and an expanded Lunch and Learn. Renew your Jewish spirit after surviving the winter holidays, commit to Jewish learning and values, and enjoy time with our CBD family! Should you wish to assist with or participate in either worship service, please contact Keren Friedman.
“Lunch and Learn” will be a real treat, from 12 to 2pm, with lunch provided and a lively study and discussion session led by our Student Rabbi Ariel. The topic for study will be "Feminism and Judaism" and promises to be an interesting and thought-provoking program. All are welcome and encouraged to attend, regardless of whether or not you normally come to Shabbat Lunch and Learn programs. Please make your reservation for Lunch and Learn.
Shabbat dinner and lunch are all provided at CBD. We always appreciate those volunteers who make this special weekend possible. If you wish to help, please contact Sandy by phone/text 720-234-8689 or email email@example.com.
RSVPs for all or any of these events are essential! We need to know to have an accurate count for those providing food by January 21. RSVP NOW by contacting Sandy, or with just a few clicks of your mouse below.
